Alongside his engineering work, he maintained systems, managed releases and brought structure to a developing creative idea. Those early responsibilities shaped the operational side of Hayle.
The pandemic prompted David and Gideon to reassess the company’s direction. Their attention moved toward practical tools and creative support for businesses facing uncertainty.
That shift carried the original purpose into a different form: software and creative work for contractors, restaurants, healthcare businesses and other teams.
Gideon describes the transition as bringing engineering with him. Building durable systems and supporting the people who use them remained the same task, even as the company’s work changed.
