David Qiu

David Qiu is a Canadian software designer and entrepreneur whose work connects construction, technology and product strategy. He began Hayle with the idea of helping people find meaningful connections through shared interests.

That early social-app mission evolved into tools for businesses. Drawing on his construction and technology background, David works on software that responds to the practical needs of builders, fabricators and tradespeople.

At Hayle, he leads product vision, client solutions and cross-functional collaboration. StoneForge is a central example: quoting, inventory and project workflows designed around the realities of fabrication shops and smaller teams.

His interest remains the human side of a system: giving people room to concentrate on their craft and making day-to-day operations easier to understand. Design, business strategy and useful software meet in that work.
